New Healthcare Division Announced
Ohio Desk launches new healthcare division with newly renovated downtown showroom.

April 3, 2009 (Cleveland, OH) – Ohio Desk, the premier provider of business environments in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania today announced a new specialty division, Healthscapes by Ohio Desk. “The importance of the healthcare industry in our market led to a need to focus our efforts with new products, services and cutting edge research,” said David Humphrey, President of Ohio Desk.

"We really feel that part of our success in the future will be to offer the Healthcare customer a true one stop shop for both non-clinical and clinical spaces and have one place to see everything. This is why we have recently renovated a building next to our headquarters in downtown Cleveland to showcase our capabilities," said Humphrey.

The renovated showroom consists of 2,000 square feet of space featuring new healthcare environments including a patient room and an exam room. In addition, a anyone who visits the new Healthscapes showroom can see innovative design solutions for caregiver stations and oncology infusion bays.

Healthscapes by Ohio Desk recently has partnered with Nurture by Steelcase to become a certified dealer for the Grand Rapids based manufacturer of Healthcare environments furniture. The partnership makes Healthscapes by Ohio Desk a premier provider of Nurture’s award-winning healthcare solutions in our market area. "The relationship with Nurture gives us access to a wealth of knowledge about the Healthcare industry," said Heather Fesler, General Manager of Healthscapes. "We are excited about sharing this information with our existing and potential customers," said Fesler.

In addition to the Nurture relationship, Healthscapes by Ohio Desk has also joined forces with a variety of clinical suppliers such as Brewer, Harloff, Health-O-Meter and Logiquip. "The expansion of these important suppliers to our portfolio truly makes Healthscapes a one stop shopping experience. The healthcare professionals have very few places they can see a variety of solutions all under one roof and we hope to provide this experience for them," stated Humphrey.
