July 31, 2010 (Leetonia, OH) – PALO Creative announced today two new additions to its staff. The full service advertising, interactive and PR agency’s recent rapid clientele growth and interactive development push has created the need for internal growth.
Scott Pallo is the new marketing and media director responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans for the company’s wide range of clients as well as executing media strategy. Previously, he worked at large advertising agencies in both Cincinnati and Akron.
Lauren Polinsky will be handling all the public relations and social media for clients as well as PALO Creative and its partner DRS, LLC. She comes from a strong journalism background that includes reporting for the Youngstown Vindicator and WOSU Public Media in Columbus.
The hiring “spree” comes on the heel of the new U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report on unemployment for the month of June. According to the report issued last week, the Valley’s metropolitan statistical area was 11.9%, down from 13.5% a year ago. PALO Creative President and chief marketing officer, Rob Palowitz is happy that both the community and his company are seeing positive changes.
“It is nice to finally see the activity again in the business community revolving around marketing campaigns and interactive development,” Palowitz said. “I’m happy to have two more individuals added to our team during a time many folks are looking for employment. We’re definitely grateful to be in this position.”
PALO Creative recently added a handful of new clients including Giannios Candy, Joe Dickey Electric and The Flats at Wick, YSU’s newest student housing facility.
