Local Agency Reaches a Milestone
PALO Creative Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary in the Valley
December 1 , 2009 (Leetonia, OH) – Celebrating their 10th anniversary, local Ad Agency, PALO Creative, is seeing continual growth in its client base, and maintains high hopes for the future. In ten short years, the agency has grown from a one-man catalog design company, to a full-service agency with employees who are well versed in all aspects of advertising, interactive, and PR.
“I started PALO out of my house, doing mostly catalog design(among other various projects,)” says PALO’s founder, Rob Palowitz, “Within two years we had to move into a new office building and I was hiring staff to help me with an ever-increasing work flow. From there we’ve grown into having as many as eight staff members working on extensive client lists in 6 states. It’s been an unbelievable experience to watch PALO grow into the company that it has.”
After working as a freelancer doing mainly catalog design, Palowitz began seeing his clientele and workload increase, and the more contacts he made, the more work he acquired. He says from that point, PALO’s development into an agency came almost natural. With his knack for working with people and contacts he had developed in numerous industries, he felt there was no better time to “give it a go.”
Since then, Palowitz has taken what was once a “boutique” catalog firm, and collected talent from all over the area to develop it into a full-service agency. The agency now boasts staff specializing in: advertising, design, public relations, and the area’s most extensive web development and new media staff. He attributes PALO’s growth and success to its ability and willingness to change with its clients and the industry itself. He says that the advertising industry is continually moving and changing, and by acquiring a staff with the same outward goals and ambitions as himself, they have been able to move and change ahead of their time.
“I saw the direction the industry was heading back in my catalog days – I knew then we were heading into more of an e-commerce/interactive focused era,” says Palowitz, “I took the steps necessary to bring on people whom I felt had the same directional focus as myself, and who were willing to devote themselves to growing with PALO.”
Palowitz and his team have managed to create an environment that offers their clients the big-city, cutting-edge campaigns, but with the small-town personal attention and focus. It is because of this that PALO has been able to hold onto their clients long-term – boasting a ten-year relationship with their very first client, Allied Locksmith Supply, and at the same time attracting work from large corporations such as Parker Hannifin.
Even with the downward shift in the economy, PALO Creative is still moving and changing in an upward direction. They’ve recently merged with their long-time client DRS, LLC, and by doing so have been able to offer their clients, as well as clients of DRS, a well-rounded package of business and marketing services. The partnership has given PALO access to new office space in Leetonia, OH - which DRS recently joined the Columbiana County Port Authority in managing.
“I see great things coming from PALO in the future,” Palowitz says, “We’ve got a great team, who are very focused and driven towards the success of the company and its clients. It’s great to look back on the path that led us where we are, but the true celebration is about our future. We’ve got a lot in the works right now, and we can’t wait to share our new developments with our loyal clients, partners, and friends in the coming New Year!”
