September 6, 2011 (Youngstown, OH) - DRS, LLC announced today that it will be incorporating Emerge IT Solutions, LLC into its organization. The integration will allow DRS to extend its geographical reach as well as add depth to its staff. It will also provide an opportunity for DRS to create additional jobs in Youngstown.
"Our footprint has expanded a lot at a very rapid pace," said DRS CEO Mike Meloy. In order to better serve our customers we needed a bigger bench and the talent we needed wasn't readily available."
DRS has a long standing history of working with Emerge on Cisco's Unified Communications Platform. By injecting them into DRS' day-to-day business model, customers will be able to have better voice and video service.
