April 2, 2010 (Boardman, OH) – Eagle Rental Purchase announced that it has partnered with The Mahoning Valley Rescue Mission to help collect food for area families in need. Both Cleveland and Boardman locations of Eagle Rentals will be collecting non-perishable food items April 1st through April 30th, 2010 to be donated to charity.
As a locally owned and operated rent-to-own store, Eagle Rentals has committed itself to helping residents meet their needs, even in the toughest of times. As company policy, they’ve always offered their customer’s flexible payment terms, no credit checks, and life-time reinstatement policies to help those who might stumble along the way – This spring, they will take that dedication a step further.
“With a state unemployment rate hovering around ten percent, we’ve come face-to-face with so many residents in dire straits; just trying to make ends meet until something breaks loose,” says Randy Lewis, Owner Eagle Rentals in Boardman. “Sometimes the smallest amount of generosity can make all the difference in the world."
In return for their patron’s donations and generosity, Eagle Rentals is giving them 25% off of their first payment. “Things are going to improve eventually, says Lewis, “but until then, we’re doing everything we can to help as a business, and also members of this community.”
Participation in this event requires no purchase or affiliation with Eagle Rentals – the company urges all area residents to pitch in to make a difference for someone in need.
The Rent-to-Own Industry
Rent-to-own prices are being lowered all across the country and the image of rent-to-own has improved as a result. The quality, variety and accessibility to trusted name brands in rent-to-own stores have helped to boost customer counts. Many rent-to-own companies are offering competitive cash prices and lower payment terms, as well as early pay-off options. Rent-to-own is becoming more competitive with retail, yet is debt-free and does not negatively affect a consumer’s credit.
