Looking ‘Fore’ward: Team Building Golf Trip Drives Growth at PALO Creative - PALO Creative

In business and in life, if you’re not moving forward, you’re moving backward. Sure, PALO Creative has a lot to be proud of over the past 20+ years, but complacency is the enemy of progress. That’s why we’re always looking to the future. 

Our whole team traveled to Top Golf in Independence, Ohio, for our first PALO Power Day, designed as a team-builder and appreciation day to celebrate our goals and discuss our future aspirations. After some open discussion, Ralph Blanco, CEO of ECMSI, spoke to us about implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) into our company. 

EOS is designed to help companies organize tasks, solve issues before they become problems, and build a culture of accountability. Most importantly, EOS will help us define goals to achieve our company’s vision moving forward. 

Once our guest speaker finished, we discussed our core values before enjoying a delicious lunch. After we finished eating, it was time to play some golf! We were divided into four teams: 

Team 1: Rob, Ralph, Christina, Stephanie, Steve 

Team 2: Ron, Kayla, Angie, Scott 

Team 3: Linda, Jon, Eric, Kyle, Bella 

Team 4: Jackie, Troy, Jim, Kevin, Brooke 

While some of us had never played before, we all had a ton of fun, sharing many laughs and even more swings and misses. 

Inserting EOS into the PALO Creative game plan is a big step that will take time, but we’re up for the challenge. We have the right people in the right seats, and we’re motivated to achieve our long-term goals. Because, if we’re rowing in the same direction, we can conquer every adversity.
